“Toplofikatsiya Ruse” shows a new direction and future for district heating companies — not only supplying heating, but offering a complete air-conditioning solution. With this approach and shared experience, Bulgaria can not only meet European requirements but also turn the green transition into an opportunity for safer, more efficient, and modern energy. That is why we created ADES (Association for Decarbonization and Energy Security). The organization aims to preserve the Bulgarian energy sector and support its smooth, technologically justified transition to a low-carbon future in accordance with European policies by 2050.

I told colleagues what steps “Toplofikatsiya Ruse” has taken toward modernization, and I am sharing them here, summarized in just a few minutes.

I would like to thank the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum for organizing the discussion forum, where experts from the energy sector had the opportunity to share their experiences. Why district heating systems are so important for the energy sector was one of the key highlights I presented to the attendees. I answer this question in the video filmed at the forum today.
